The Reading Nest is a trusted and inclusive literacy support service in South Africa, empowering children with dyslexia and other literacy challenges to become confident, independent readers and learners.

We provide structured, evidence based literacy interventions for children with dyslexia and language-based learning difficulties. Through one-on-one sessions, small groups, and school partnerships, we deliver personalised, multisensory lessons that unlock every child’s potential.

Our approach is built on the idea of a safe, nurturing space where children can grow in confidence. Like a nest, it provides warmth, security, and the right conditions for learners to take flight as independent readers. Our logo an owl with a book symbolises wisdom, curiosity, and joy in learning.

Rooted in Montessori and structured literacy principles, we adapt to diverse needs while making learning joyful.
