Literacy & Theatre Studio

A dynamic, multisensory studio where literacy meets creativity. Through the integration of evidence-based Structured Literacy and expressive arts, children develop confidence in reading, language, and self expression. Drama, storytelling, and movement are used intentionally to deepen comprehension, strengthen vocabulary, and nurture a lifelong love of language.

Private Tutoring Sessions

Individualised, high impact tutoring tailored to each learner’s cognitive and literacy profile. Sessions are grounded in evidence-based Structured Literacy intervention, supporting reading, spelling, writing, and comprehension. Ideal for learners with dyslexia or learning differences, each session is explicit, systematic, and designed to build lasting confidence and independence.

Structured Learning programmes

Comprehensive, diagnostic literacy assessments provide a clear, data driven understanding of each learner’s strengths and areas of need. From this, a personalised, neuro informed intervention programme is developed, using Structured Literacy methodologies to deliver targeted, measurable progress and long term success.

Our Terms of Service

Thank you for choosing The Reading Nest!

Your engagement with our services indicates your agreement with the subsequent terms and conditions. Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with them.

1. Purpose
The Reading Nest provides literacy support for children through structured sessions that build reading confidence, phonics awareness, comprehension and related skills.

2. Enrolment
A child joins The Reading Nest once a completed registration form is submitted and confirmation is provided. The Reading Nest reserves the right to accept or decline enrolment to ensure an appropriate and supportive environment for all learners.

3. Sessions and Attendance
Parents agree to bring their child on time and collect them on time. Missed sessions are not refundable. Rescheduling is offered only when space and timetable allow.

4. Fees and Payment
Fees are payable in advance per session or as otherwise agreed. A space is confirmed only once payment is received. Late payment may result in suspension of sessions.

5. Cancellation
Parents must provide written notice if they intend to withdraw their child. Fees already paid are non refundable. The Reading Nest reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions when required for safety or operational reasons.

6. Learning Approach
The Reading Nest uses a literacy program aligned with evidence based reading development. Parents understand progress varies between children and no specific learning outcomes or timelines are guaranteed.

7. Parent Communication
The Reading Nest provides periodic feedback on a child’s progress. Parents agree to share relevant information about learning needs, diagnoses, or concerns to support effective teaching.

8. Behaviour and Participation
Children are expected to engage respectfully and follow classroom guidelines. If behaviour disrupts learning or safety, the teacher may request a parent meeting or discontinue enrolment.

9. Health and Safety
Parents confirm their child arrives in good health. Any allergies, medical conditions or support needs must be disclosed in writing. The Reading Nest may administer basic first aid if needed and will contact parents immediately for any concerns.

10. Drop Off and Collection
Only authorised adults may collect a child. Parents must ensure safe handover at both drop off and pick up. The Reading Nest is not responsible for a child outside scheduled session times.

11. Personal Items
The Reading Nest is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings brought to sessions.

12. Photography and Media
Photos or videos of children will not be shared publicly without explicit written consent from parents. Parents may opt out at any time.

13. Privacy
Personal information is kept confidential and used only for operational, safety and educational purposes. Records are stored securely and not shared with third parties except where required by law.

14. Liability
Parents understand that all reasonable precautions are taken to ensure safety, but The Reading Nest is not liable for accidental injury or unforeseen incidents that occur during sessions.

15. Changes to Terms
The Reading Nest may update these Terms of Service when needed. Parents will be notified of changes before they take effect.
